Experience:

 

Founding Partner at Noon, Nelson leads the assessment and operational development of investments and is responsible for ESG.

​

His journey in Private Equity began 11 years ago when he joined Actis in 2012 as the Head of

Value Creation for Latin America.

​

During his time at Actis, he led the value creation agenda for various portfolio companies and

served as the CEO of Grupo Genesis for approximately three years.

​

From 2002 to 2012, he worked as a consultant and executive in Brazil and several countries across America, Europe, and Africa.

​

He was Director at Booz Allen Hamilton in Consumer Goods and Agribusiness and was the Executive Director of Grupo DPaschoal.

​

Between 1992 and 1999, he held leadership roles in Supply Chain at Souza Cruz and Voith, the company where he began his career.

​

Serves as a mentor to growth-stage companies and as a member of nonprofit association boards.

​

Nelson Bechara holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Universidade Paulista, a postgraduate degree in business administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and an MBA

from the University of Maryland.
